Lucinda Smith is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in working with children, young people and their families. She lives in Hampshire with her son, and lots of pets including two cats, a dog, two turtles, a bearded dragon and lots of fish! She loves the out doors and going on adventures.
Lucinda is passionate about mental health and wellbeing, and specialises in working with neurodiversity; childhood bereavement; and trauma. Lucinda worked for many years for the NHS in Hampshire, UK; and she is also the co-founding Partner of an Independent Practice for children and their families - weareforwardthinking.co.uk
Lucinda loves to write stories and songs that inspire and heal. She also loves to sing with great enthusiasm (but very little skill). Benji Blue is Lucinda's first published book, written for her son when he first started school. It has been helping lots of children with their worries about school ever since.
